Induction Class of 1993
Eleanor Henley Robinson was Earlham’s first Earlham College Girl of the Year in 1926. For this title, Eleanor’s peers recognized her as the most outstanding female athlete, scholar and all-around student. A statement in the 1926 Sargasso reads, “It isn’t everyone who has the honor to be President of two important organizations and who can manage them as efficiently as Eleanor. Besides that she has time for athletics and dramatics, and to rank among the best students. In fact, no one could be more all around or have more friends.”
