Tashi Johnson

Women's Track & Field
Graduation Year: 2005

Induction Class of 2016

Tashi Johnson was a four-year member of the track and field team from 2001-05 and a 12-time All-NCAC honoree. The second-highest scorer in the NCAA era of the Earlham track and field program (behind only Sarah Bohall), Johnson is a two-time national qualifier in the 100-meter dash. Johnson is the school record holder in the 55-meter dash, 100-meter dash, and 200-meter dash.

“Tashi was a class act, a tremendous sprinter, and a joy to coach,” said Pat Thomas, Johnson’s collegiate coach. “She won most of her 100-meter and 200-meter races during her career and anchored Earlham’s 4-x-100-meter relay to numerous wins. While she qualified for the NCAA Division III National Meet twice in the 100-meter dash, I consider her junior year victories in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash at the Indiana Intercollegiate meet to be the highlight of her career.”
