Induction Class of 2017
Walker Yane holds the distinction as being one of two track and field All-Americans in Earlham history. A four-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) honoree in outdoor track and field, Yane won the 3,000-meter steeplechase as a senior and was named Men's Track Most Valuable Player at the 2007 NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He went on to earn All-American honors with an eighth place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Yane holds program records in the outdoor 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:07.66) as well as holding indoor records for both the 3,000-meter run (8:48.35) and 5,000-meter run (15:14.16).
